Rangoli: morning raagaa

After a long time I put this wet maavu kolam on the black granite slab and colored it with colorpodi, since rain did not allow me to enter the terrece..

Rangoli: Sona/ chikku/ Padikkolam

Thia is a sona design Padikkolam, with 4 side gopurams and prakaarams. In a small place I have to accomodate this 24 dotted kolam,( hence it took a long time to complete)Once I finished the kolam and put my favourite lavender out line my grand son( three and half year old) said'Fantastic Paatti'. I was thrilled to get such a comment from him .
This kolam is dedicated to Rani/ Veni Jodi, who are flooding the ikolam site with their wonderful chikku kolams.

Rangoli: mOhanaji's Sona Brindhavana with flowers

I ENJOYed copying the SB kolam with flower petals.Since I had only two colored flowers I could do only this way. Since the contrast colors were not available, to make the kolam look bright I put the dots with marbles.Hope you all like this.

Rangoli: mOhanaji's hexagonal kolam no. 10 on the floor.

In all mOhanaji's hexagonal kolams, after giving the details, he used to end it with "Enjoy".
All of you enjoy seeing and commenting on it. I enjoy them by trying on the floor with color podi. You all also can enjoy joining me.It is fun and challenging too!.

Rangoli: Terrece kolam

This one also wet rice maavu kolam, free hand design. The kaavi color powder comes handy for decorations.
Since the terrece has slight slop even wet maavu tries to run away from the kolam. wind and rain have the competition to taste it, but what to do only in terrece I have the space to draw big kolams.

Rangoli: Unnamed

This kolam is unnamed because I don't know what name to put for it. Can you all suggest a name? This kolam is done on MS paint.
Enjoy the Unnamed kolam!:)

Rangoli: Kolam on the terrece

It is one more wet maavu free hand kolam put on the terrece against heavy wind in a cloudy morning. Could not wait till the kolam is fully dried since it looked anytime heavy rain will come.So simple kaavi podi came handy to decorate the otherwise simple kolam.

Rangoli: real and false kolam

On Krishna Jayanthi, I put this kolam infront of Thulsi. By the time the wet maavu kolam dried I was busy with other works and hence did not put kaavi. To make it bright I took the help of MS paint and drew the Kaavi. So kolam is real and Kaavi is false.( Idea from Indira Sunder)
This design taken from an kolam book, dot count 15-8 inbetween dots
