real and false kolam

About real and false kolam : PRINT

On Krishna Jayanthi, I put this kolam infront of Thulsi. By the time the wet maavu kolam dried I was busy with other works and hence did not put kaavi. To make it bright I took the help of MS paint and drew the Kaavi. So kolam is real and Kaavi is false.( Idea from Indira Sunder)
This design taken from an kolam book, dot count 15-8 inbetween dots

Rangoli: real and false kolam

hats off to ur patience rajamma mam...it would've taken much more time to put kavi in mspaint than to do the kolam na....the outcome is very nice....

Super work Rajam - without reading the description I actually thought that you had put some red beads or madhulam seeds to decorate this kolam - looks very attractive Smile

The red dots look like MAdulam seeds. Always you know how to make a kolam attractive, Rajam!

RajamAmma, you always keep on experimenting new ideas and inspire everyone with your innovative thoughts... The extra detailing and kumizh red dots are the real stealers...

Really innovative, madam. But personally, I felt the central flower looked as if the petals had been torn off, (due to the spaced 'kaavi', I think.
