Rangoli: Krishna Jayanthi kolam

This was put for Krishna Janmaashtami day. A dotted kolam with wet maavu. dot count 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 5, 4, 3,2, 1 on both sides.Instead of Kaavi put red color powder. And Krishaa's foot prints made from the kolam upto the pooja room. Children enjoyed this kolam

Rangoli: Triangular chikku kolam-1 of Mr. Mohanaji

I have tried the chikku kolam with wet rice maavu. Hope the triangles and the wavy pattern are ok. A small kolam at the side drawn on the same method.

Rangoli: mOhanaji's hexagonal chikku kolam no. 7

I tried the simplest of mOhanaji's chikku kolam with color podi.Hope it has come out 50% of the original PC work kolam.mohanaji will be able to give suggestions for improving it.(Brindha, I tried it with the given 5-3 dots and the triangles were not coming properly. Finally added inbetween dots to make it 9-5 dots, arranged the triangles first, then drew the design, finally put colored lines with the weaving effect seeing the original kolam. You too can in that way)

Rangoli: Onum Pookkolam

One of my neighbour friend Smt. Brindha has put this pookolam for Onum/Pournami poojai and wanted me to share it with ikolam members. ( Soon she will become a member and upload her beautiful works)

Rangoli: Onam Pookolam

In a hurry this pookolam was put for Onam. Can you smell the Jasmine, Panner rose, Marukkozhundhu and Sampige?

Rangoli: Dotted kolam in white with Red kaavi

After a series of colored rangolams from me now I want to give you all a simple white kolam with Kavvi, drawn in a hurry on this VaraMahalakshmi pooja day in front of Thulasi Madam.(Before rain and wind could taste it I took the photo). It is a dotted kolam . dot count is 9-5 in betwen dots. The main kolam drawn with this dots and some decorations done outside.

Rangoli: Pachai Pookkolam

This is a slight modified kolam of my earlier snake kolam. Dot count 9-5 inbetween dots. Used green and coffee brown color combination. Green flowers looking rare and different?
