I wanted to put this kolam this morning in front of my house but since it was raining I could not do so.... I did not want to let this opportunity go by so I sat on the computer and completed this kolam in 15 minutes... I know the proportion between the colours on the flag are not even but I did not want to delay in perfecting this kolam before uploading this today or else it would be too late and the essence would be lost... So please excuse this...

wish you all Happy Independence Day,hello i am amutha, i submit this kolam . i got this some years before in a newspaper that itself very old and not clear in which it got the first prize during the kolam competition. i tried very hard to get the neli and finally got it correct. this kolam i like very much.

Always loved padi kolams... so this is my first attempt at Padi maavu kolam using ideas and copying designs from some of the ikolam members ... so if you find some similarity to any one of your kolams ... be sure it is a copy from your kolams. Not a very perfect one... yet felt like sharing with you all ... comments welcome

Hi ! every year in our colony we do celebrate INDEPENDENCE DAY by hoisting the indian flag by the senior member from the colony.this time the flag was hoisted by Smt.JAYALAKSHMI SETHURAMAN(retd head mistress).i thought of sharing with you all.
