All fridays i make special kolams, coz my father fasts for amavasai this friday, I post a picture of the freshly cultivated paddy field near my home just 10mts away. Me and my mom enjoy it in evenings everyday, despite all our relatives complaint of being so hostile. The morning sunrise is a spectacular scene here!!!

A special maa kolam for tamil new year. The kolam is scratched for food at some places by the squirrel and its kids, which has a roost in our coconut tree. I tried to hide a part of the scratch, but could not hide small ones.
