a four line star kolam which i tried with a single line,but the effect was not the same i expected,soon will try in four lines for the true effect of this kolam.

a basic design with outer border derived from yahoo rangoli images tag,on the day of ganesh chathurthi.
a special kolam in the mud floor after a week of unexpected showers,for which i was praying and longing to lord Ganesha. As the mantra quotes"vakrathunda....sarva karyeshu sarvatha",he made the day dawn bright with sun.i quenched my week long yearning.still the unevenness on floor persists,trying to pave it up soon.

this is a sketch of the aadi velli kolam which i drew on paper to try it on this friday,but due to the recent rains my mud floor has become a swamp pool,so i am left with only a pencil sketch.

a set of pictures before the home on the evening before varalaxmi pooja.it was cloudy
so the picture is little gloomy!
this is the second set of kolams specially made on the day of varalakshmi pooja.its a very common design but i like to share it with ikolamites!
