this kolam did not turn out to my expectations jaya mam,also i took this picture after a long dilemma whether to include this in my gallery[ at about 9 am] so until then the soil became dry and the thickness of the kaavi is dull.

simple but very nice
I like this very much. It is a single line pattern. The lines around the central circle could have had the same length. Then the hexagonal symmetry will be maintained. I must try it with strings, if you let me :-)
