Hello everyone!
This is a free hand kolam of a lotus by me. Details I like about this kolam : it draws your attention to the centre with some intricacy at the middle and then flares out in thin lines and is finally contained by a lace-like border.

hai sjnt anty,thisis my different type of kuzhal.firstone is 8lines kuzhal,seconed lotus design kuzhal ,third flower design kuzhal.i bought this kuzhal in salem kottai mariyamman kovil street.
This is my latest attempt done this afternoon, when my kids were asleep.
Colourful Butterflies willed with coloured rice. Outlines are made by rice flour.
We did these rangolies in Bradford Mela UK on 12th and 13th June 2010.

This is a sona hexagon made with a 4-3 pattern. Two types of lines only are obtained. See how the linking is obtained. Look at the white triangular chikku besides the other up-and-down threading. I placed in the centre the dotted motif just to fill the space. Enjoy!

Hi friends. I am very happy to inform you all that, my painting, colouring and knowledge of drawing using PC is improving day by day. This is because, whenever I get a new Rangoli either posted here or through my friends and family, I will try the same in PC. Thanks to ikolam for giving this opportunity.
