Mother's day is observed in May when the schools (in the US) are open. Kids under the guidance of teachers engage in a lot of creative activities for their mom. Unfortunately or fortunately, Father's day occurs in June when the kids are at home longing for the beach or some such thing. No goodies for the dad except some tools or some such may-be-dad-will-like-this stuff Here is something for all the daddies. More in my blog later. Regards! - mOhana

These rakhis are made with cornflour. Those who have seen my Lhamasa flremember. These aroral frame may e made with the left overs of those flowers.
The dot count is 7-4 inbetween dots. Even working ladies also can put this kolam since it will not take much time.
This is another margazhi kolam. This can be drawn without dots also. Flowers and leaves kolam.
