This too is made with curled paper strips. Very light weight. One disadvantage is that you can't wear it in the rain.

With 9-5 in between dots I drew this design in paper. It is easy to draw in paper but will take much time to put as rangoli.
This rangoli looked so plain and simple in my kolam book. Thanks to Anita because she decided the colouring which I am very pleased with.
This is yet another kolam of my 13-7 series. This design looks like the swords dancing.
These samples will give different style and natural look to flowers. I tried to search for these in the stationary stores, but cud not get all kinds, so knocked off with my computer and printer.
This is a very very simple kolam to draw to the beginners.
Dot count:
2,4,6,8,8,6,4,2
The background mat is woven with paper strips. The flowers are done with the floral punch cut outs.
Nowadays experimenting on kambhi kolams inspired/copied from everyones gallery..
Really needs practise and concentration and most important patience to put these designs.
