Here We stand being Proud Indians, celebrating 62 years of Glory. Wishing You all a very Happy Independence Day...
I had drawn a simple kolam with national flags around it today morning being 26th Jan'09.. feeling very patriotic on account of Republic Day.. Standard rice powder has been used. The dot count is 13-7.
Hi friends,HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY .
26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign and republican state. The country finally realized the dreams of freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since. This was drawn by myself and Bharathi.
