Julien's simple rangolis I always enjoy and I know her first admirer is her daughter.When I saw this design I remembered Adhirai and this simple rangoli is done for her to enjoy.The butterflies are familier to all. But the fly with butterlike wings are rare no?Have you seen this in the field?

SrIpAdarAya, perhaps the founder of the karNATaka system of music, composed a song bhUshaNake bhUshaNa. In it he mentions aalayake bhUshaNa tulasi bRndAvana (tulasi bRMdAvana is the ornament for a temple).
