Rangoli: Simple wet maavu kolam

I always like to put wet maavukolam without dots. This also an on the spot design.

Rangoli: One more morning raaga

This was done on black tile with kola podi. dot count 9-5 in between dots. This design the neigbours one year old girl liked very much and minutes after I put she put her own design on it.( nowadays I put kolam with camera in my hand)

Rangoli: Jai Ganesh!

This also one of the Ganesha rangoli put in my office by me and friends. I think GANESHA is worshiped all over India with great enthu and it comes after Independence day. So we chose our National flag color to give border for this rangoli. Whenever I see this snap my good olden days spent in office with nice friends come to my mind and I feel very happy.

Rangoli: Ganesha Bandhaa!

In our office our kolam loving group used to put colorful rangoli with Ganesha, every year during Vinayaka chathurthi. This design was put by me and coloring was done by all friends.

Rangoli: Carpet Kolam

During Navraathri, one day I told my daughter Jayashree (now Sahana's mother) who was in her teens then, to put Rangoli in the Golu since I have to go to office. Just gave her the paper design and the color powder and left for office. In the evening when I returned, she surprised me with this rangoli.I got this photo today from my album so wanted Sahana to enjoy her mother's work thru ikolam.

Rangoli: Dancing Annam - 1995

Viji Madam makes designs in Sarees, but I made this Rangoli from the design in my saree. It was made way back in 1995 during Navarathri in front of Kolu.

Rangoli: Computer (table) kolam

This is a dotted kolam. dot count 7 dots in 7 lines straight. then 7 dots on all the four sides and 3 alternate dots on all 4 sides.(noconfusion if u see the design). This kolam is nelikolam combined with straight lines in the corners to give a different look.
(Ok! then why the name computer kolam?..... Hehe ... I just used my DIL's laptop working table to put this kolam!)

Rangoli: morning raagam

The dot count for this kolam is 9-5 in between dots.
After putting the basic kolam you can put shading and border as per your imagination.
