It is a dotted podikolam. dot count9-5 in between dots.
The wind was ready to take away the kolam and I clicked it before that. after 5 minutes rain also tasted it.
Only on the terrece I could get place to draw bigger kolam. But the wind prevented me from putting podikkolam( not padikolam).wind was tasting it before I could complete it. So I used wet maavu and waited for it to dry. So when I came to take poto the kolam was 50/50 in the sun and the nizhal,
This kolam will be looking very nice if colored. the dot count is 15-8 inbetween dots. then 3,2,1 in all six sides.Filling design and border as per ur imagination u can put.
This one also 9-5 dot count kolam. Easy to put in the busy hours of morning. decoration can be put if you find time.
The dot count is 7-4 inbetween dots. Even working ladies also can put this kolam since it will not take much time.
With 9-5 in between dots I drew this design in paper. It is easy to draw in paper but will take much time to put as rangoli.
All of you would have put this kolam atleast once.Easy and the centre design can be changed to suit your imagination of flower or bird or some nice greeting words.
