This rangoli was done by the assistant of the Purohit who did the pooja in our house. He was filling up the colors from all 4 sides and suddenly he created this Shivalingam just like that.He was using color powdwer without mixing the white rangoli powder.

This is a dotted kolam . dot count 9-5 inbetween dots and extended outside with 2,1 dots on all sides.outer border as per ur imagination.

I always like to decorate kolam with vilakku design and Kavi outlines.
This is a simple padikolam.My daughter inlaw drew this in paper for me to put.She is good in drawing.
Unlike Lakshmiji, I am very kanjoos in using kolapodi.
I can draw thin lines but not thick lines.
If Lakshmi put her hand in this how it will look?

Before keeping the Shanku in pooja, we did small pooja few days back..since So many Shankas decorate most of our kolam and recent mOhanaji's padikolam with shaded shanku, i thought I'll upload this. It is a Valampuri Shanku.
