When I visited a godown to select school uniform, a cute chikku kolam drawn in a corner with a rare dot count surprised me. Took a photo in my mobile and drew with color podi for you all to taste. Can you all use this dot count for creaitng different chikku kolam?
I see so many 15-1 dotted kolam from all members in different veriety and so tempted to put one more. The watermelon dried seeds and pista nut shells came handy to decorate it.
Loooong back i put this kolam, copied from an old magazine, but before uploading i have to take a long break( Palni trip, relatives visit, camera + computer out of order, eyes + hand giving trouble.... all forced me to be out of ikolam for a few weeks.Hope I'll be able to continue now. Missed all your nice works and commenting on them, will see and comment soon)
For St Patrick's day I could not put the kolam with green clover flowers.After seeing the 4 petal lucky clovers from JKM Sir's kolam I was tempted to put one. This is a dotted kolam.
dot count 4, 6( three lines) 12, 14 ( 4 lines) 12, 6 ( three lines) and 4. all straight dots
HOLI...." rangon kee thyohaar"is celeberated thru out India on this poornima day. We ladies chanted "Soundharya Lahari" after the chandrodhayam.I had little time to put big rangoli with all colors. Did a small colorful wish to all. Enjoy HOLI.... with colors dearer to ikolam members.
