This is drawn with riversand mixed with liquid colors.It is little difficult to draw the lines with sand than filling.
The dot count can be taken from the kolam design it self. This was taken from an Tamil magazine " Snehidhi"

This is the drawing of my recent morning raaga with clear dot count i.e 9-5 inbetween dots.
Now you beleive it is a simple design.( Only coloring makes it look complicated.)
This is a simple 9-5 inbetween dotted kolam, colored with riversand, mixed with color powder.
It is very easy to spread the color with riversand.
Hope the Title and the 10x10 kolam is suitable for wishing this LOVEly day. I wish....

this is a dotted design with dot count 10x10 straight dots.the design extended outside. Lata, I remember that you wanted us to give our drawings with this dot count no? Here is mine.
Even after Margazhi gone I am hooked to chikku kolams. Here is one with 15-1 straight dots. coloring effect is inspiration from Sowmya.
Recently Indra sunder has made a Ther kolam. 10th being Rathasapthami, I drew this chikku kola Ratham with white kolapodi and did some decorations with Kaavi and orange colors. it took nearly 4 hours to complete.
