Rangoli: "Free-hand" computer aided lotus

This is a "free-hand" type computer aided lotus. Regards! - mOhana

Rangoli: Patterns of Om - 1

In my blog, I mentioned about the patterns I created with the dEvanAgari Om.
Here are the first two in the rangOli section. The left one looks almost like
modern art Smile Hope you'll enjoy!

Rangoli: Happy Father's Day!

Mother's day is observed in May when the schools (in the US) are open. Kids under the guidance of teachers engage in a lot of creative activities for their mom. Unfortunately or fortunately, Father's day occurs in June when the kids are at home longing for the beach or some such thing. No goodies for the dad except some tools or some such may-be-dad-will-like-this stuff Smile Here is something for all the daddies. More in my blog later. Regards! - mOhana

Rangoli: rangOlis in the sky!

I recently received some amazing pictures of lightning bolts during thunderstorms and
tornadoes. I just took one typical lightning bolt and made the patterns shown in this
picture. Regards! - mOhana

Rangoli: Banana flower

I saw recently a banana flower rangOli. I did a series of "banana" patterns more
than two months ago. Then, as usual, I got distracted by other interests. When I
saw the above, I went back and dug out this for your eyes. Other banana patterns
some time later. Regards! - mOhana

Rangoli: Black swan day!

Swans are supposed to be epitomes of whiteness and purity. In Indian mythology, a
swan is capable of separating water from the milk! There are not only white
swans, but also black ones too. Since they are rare, any rare event is called a
black swan day! Today is a black swan day! You'll find in this rangOli borders
with the black swan as the motif. Enjoy!

Rangoli: Paisley - 2

The paisley design looks like a tear drop or a comma. It is used quite extensively
in embroidering textiles. People juxtapose various sizes of paisley patterns
sometimes. In every household this design is present in a curtain, sari or a
hand kerchief. Here are the last three paisley designs.
