Viji Mam', I've always struggled with making rangolis in front of the golu during those 9 days of navrathri, mainly because our floors are wall to wall carpeted, and I hunt around the house for a board to place in front of the golu for kolams. I'm planning to incorporate your plate-rangoli ideas...I see many possibilities. Thank you.
