Thank you all for appreciating this art form. It is because of this love that rangoli/kolam art is still alive in India and wherever indians have migrated. I have given Lata a brief description of the theme of my rangoli and how it was done. I'm sure she'll post it as soon as gets a little time.

Was this done for any kind of a special pooja for the goddess? Looks like the smaller idols are also dressed in hand-made orange miniature sarees?
