Now after I had sliced to cucumber to complete the chilli flower I got an idea of creating designs with the cucumber slices and this is what I finally arrived at. I played with the numbers from 1 to 10 in order and then 3 multiples of 5 (as the cucumber slices ran out of stock - hehe) and have arranged them in order for you to enjoy. Now I am actually happy with my participation in this corner as I managed to do something creative - looking forward to the comments and views of the experts
Not finding the time to make new rangolis for this corner was making me feel very guilty and in fact jealous of the ones who made the time to create and upload. This morning I as I was cooking I thought the dry chillies looked really healthy and suddenly got a brain-wave. I made a flower with it and sliced a cucumber to make the centre of the red hot flower. Here is the outcome..
Once I was done with the sweet corn I decided to look up my kolam book for some veggie kolams but discovered that there was a heart kolam which I could convert into juicy carrots and here is what I have come up with. I just let my hands play with the dots and the end product pleased me very much - I am sure you will like it too
I thought that I won't have enough time to make kolams for this patch and was feeling a little upset about it. Suddenly I had a brainwave and I took out the sweet corn that I had kept in the fridge and started putting the pearls together to make small flowers, then I added some chamki and finally added a touch of kolapodi - and all this in my non-stick frying pan. I am sure you are all going to enjoy this
This is a dotted kolam with dot count 13 to 7, tried making a tomato kolam or something that resembles it at least.. hope you like it
This is a dotted kolam with dot count 29 to 15 center dots done using MS paint. Hope you like it..
This is a maakolam with dot counts 5 to 1 (center dots) and 2 and 1 dots on all 4 sides... I started making this maakolam and felt it resembled somewhat like onions so drew a few curry leaves and tomatoes for the border to go along with it and this goes to the veggie garden
This is an eggplant dotted rangoli for the ikolam garden... dot count is 11 x 3 to 3.. hope you like it
This is a kolam with all the possible fruits (courtesy Aval Vigadan) ... I added few other fruits that I could remember... the inner fruit is banana, second layer is apples and oranges, third layer is pineapples and watermelon, outer layer is oranges and grapes... hope you all like it and enjoy it
