Here are two patterns woven with strings. We have a basic 3x4 dot pattern with a single string at the top. A sona square with this basic pattern has two strings (red and green) with the symmetry 222 (180 degree rotations about a vertical axis, and two diagonal 180 deg rotations in the plane of the figure). If you ignore the colours, then the symmetry is 422 (90 deg rotations about a vertical axis and four 180 deg rotations at 45 deg in the plane), Enjoy!

This time I tried drawing using Google Docs which seemed to be much easier than MS Paint
This is a hurry-burry kolam I did today since I had to go out early for some reason, this is a simple podikolam... hope you like it... Dot count 7 x 7 and 1 x 2 on all 4 corners and centers..
