Rangoli: paDikOlam-15

The paDi in paDikOlam represents a step. Where do we find steps? We find them in the temple tanks. So in a way, paDikOlam is a paDikuzham! I found two such unuusual tanks in south India. They are in neigbouring states, not on the coast. Normally I don't mix up paDikOlams. This is an exception. One is in square shape with intricate architercture in the design of steps. I am representing the aerial view. The other is in an octagonal form. Here is my idealisation of both. Can you find the locations of these? Regards! - mOhana

Rangoli: Sona drawings and Sona chowks for two rows of dots

I am presenting here the sona drawings and sOnA chowks for two rows of dots. I have varied the number of dots in the columns from 4 to 10. The number of lines we get for the original Sona drawings followed by the number for the squares are given showing the variety we obtain here. The sona drawings and sOnA chowks were drawn on MS Paint and assembled on Powerpoint. Comments are welcome!

Rangoli: paDikOlam-14

As an experiment, I did 90% of this paDikOlam using MS Paint. In fact this is my very first attempt using this software. Comments are welcome!
