Right from Judy, Brinda.. to Manjula so mant have presented this decoration.
The Big Lamp is my mother's called Vazhaithandu vilakku( becase the middle portion resembles Banana tree stem) famous in Kerala.We consider the Velakku as DEVI and do pooja with lots of flowers, called 'BagavathiSeva'.
Ofcourse other decorations are done on ordinary days.

Vinayaka chathurthi pooja flowers I could not waste so tried this pookolam with dry flower petals.
after seeing Subashini's green kolam I put this one with Coconut, manjal Vettrilai, paaku pazham and poovu.( dotted kolam ..13 -7 inbetween dots).
Pushpaji, see since the maavu was very watery I could not draw this neatly.

Rajusree's kolam tempted me to colour it and here is the outcome. Lata, some of the blue bells changed into hibiscus. Hope you all enjoy them.
This is another simple kolam. I think when u color, this will really look good.
Deepa you told that you are inspired by my kuzhal kolam and bought a kuzhal. Here it happened the other way. I am inspired by your Aadi velli paper kolam and made it instead of you. Please don't mind the small changes made by me
