Here is the special rangoli for Valentine ....roses and hearts, asusual drawn, scanned & colored one. I could not resrict to use only red/pink/whites, hope lataji gives me grace marks for this :).
Dotcount: 21 X 11 ... also the rose can be written single by using 5 X 1 middle dots.

Rosy Conchy on a chilled Saturday Margazhi morning. I know the lemon background for the conch looks a bit dull. Any suggestions?
this is the new view of the entrance with grass patchup still growing and another kambi kolam below the rangoli on the newly paved mud floor.will upload a closeup collage of the kambi kolam soon.
in this rangoli i have used rice flour and colour powder mixtured with sand and it contains 14 dots and 14 lines.
This kolam is drawn by me on one of days of Marghazhi season. Since we live in a flat where the space is very less for a larger kolam to be drawn, I restrict myself, in drawing a semi small kolams everyday. since, ours is the first flat, the larger kolams get spoilt by walkers, who use this path, along our flat. So, I use only colour chalkpieces, to decorate my kolams.
This is flower kolam & the dots are from 11-3 straight dots.
