This is a dotted kolam with dot count 21 to 11 in between dots. Used wet rice maavu to draw the design and for filling white kola podi and kavi for outlines.
A dotted kolam I made a couple of weeks ago. It reminded me of the Navrathri prasadam (offering)- Kunkum, that is offered to the married ladies. Dot count - 15 to 1.
Here is a dotted kolam from my folder. I call it "Murukku" kolam.
