The strokes for this rangoli are neon colored. Actually, they look like "javvu mittai" the rubbery, syrupy candy that I used to like a long time back!
Used the wood grain texture to color the kolam. This is a 9 - 1 dot kolam.

This is another simple lamp kolam which many of you might already know - I am trying out new applications and textures on photoshop (just got the guts to experiment) and hope they all come out well...

This is a dotted star kolam. I had borrowed the basic pattern from one of my family member.
I banned my sisters from eating Jello, a few years back. But we have fun making designs with Jello-texture. Bright Jello-colors are my favorite ones to use, for rangolis.
