Nice idea of making a shiv-ling kolam. We don't have that many shivji rangolis/dotted kolams in this site. I do have a suggestion/request to make; next time when you try a similar dotted kolam, could you please show/draw the outlines in a color that is a contrast to the background color? In this design, I think using a dark outline would've made the design more clear (also to get a clear idea regarding the dots and the way they are connected). :)
