In that case, my daughter isn't the only one who mistook you for an "aunty"! My apologies to you, and thank you for commenting here about it(helps other members too)
I have one more question about the bees (actually my daughter is the one being specific about it). Why aren't the bees yellow and black? Any reason for them being blue?
That is fine Lataji, except that she made an uncle into an aunt
It is not her mistake, though. Blame it on me and my name.
Thanks to all the members for their support and encouragement.

Oops, she has managed to sneak up again! Mohana, the previous comment was made by my daughter (7yrs old), who goes by the user name SuriK in this site. Because we don't let her comment much, she tries to sneak up whenever I step out of my desk, and whenever she comes across a rangoli which fascinates her too much. I hope you don't mind. She was a bumble bee for last year's halloween.
The kolams are very cute and superb... but the dots were not clear in some kolams and i am not able to understand since i am learner in kolam.
Rajamma mam thank u so much for ur appreciation.
Hai,
i like this ikolam.com website very much. i would like to see many kolam patterns and rangoli designs for my use!!!

Hi Sudha,I always admire such MAAKOLAMS infront of the house. They say the white and red combination represent SIVA and SHAKTHI.
Very nice, I could feel the dancing of the bees around the flowers
Hi Lakshmi, Iwas busy last week and when opened the site it was loaded with so many kolams. All your contributions are very nice esp. this one.
peacocks, with their feathers scattered around, amids of real and Rangoli deepams
welcoming Karthigai?
What a neat and clean work!!!Even though itis an old design, your symmetry and colouring has given it a fantastic look
So nice mayasundar. Colour selection is wonderful and so are the colours.

I want to complement you Mrs.Rao because you made one of the telugu letters into a great Rangoli.
Old collections, you know what they say about old. Thank you for sharing your Gold!
