Bhuvaneswari, great idea, will consider it in the near future.
Anaga, thank you for your sweet comments. For the seasonal newsletter, it has been ikolam's policy to show an animated kolam, and so, we find Lakshmi's special kolam to be too complex (animating that would certainly take a few days since there are many kolams inside the big one). But, I'm thinking of showcasing it in a better way...give me some time and I'll come up with an idea.
There are a few blue bees I have seen. But most of them are
yellow and black, I agree. I used red and blue because these
colours give a good contrast and also (do you know) a three
dimensional effect. Yellow is not a good colour as it will
always come in a pale manner. She must be knowing this as
she must have used her crayons in the school. About my name -
mOhana is the right way to spell it, both for men and women.
In the case of a man's name, the na is short and in the case
of women, it is long, nA. That is the only difference. It is
spelt as mOhan only in the north Indian languages.
Lakshmi/Latha. congrats . You can make this kolam as symbol of ikolam site. That will be the fitting tribute for this wonderful work from Lakshmi's hand.
Brinda, nice kolam. I think the four lines are drawn by a small metal roller, with holes and inside filled with white rangoli powder. The outer thick line is made by hand.Am I correct?By using this type of KOLAKUZHAL we can make big designs in a short time.
very beautiful kindly let us know the number of dots you have used
Thank You Lakshmiragu !
