Materials Used: Rice flour and colors

This kolam is drawn in our house corridor escipally for ikolam contest. The attached kolam depicts Sun, Pongal pots, Sugarcane and cow ; which are the main things which comes to our mind when we think of the festival "Pongal".

I have just created my account in this site. I came to know through my friends. I have attached one of my kolam for the Margazhi kolam contest 2009.

This is a straight dotted kolam. Horizontally 65 dotted in one line. I have done this kolam on my terrace. It takes a huge place so that i am not able to take a one kolam picture clearly. but the other side also the same design only. This kolam refers to all are same. we are indians.

Its a dotted kolam.Sandhu pulli 17-9..It is drawn by connecting through the dots(Sandhu Pulli) and i spend two hours for this kollam.

Materials Used:Rice Powder,Color Powders,Sand

This is the kolam I put outside my house for Pongal. I got the idea for it from the design on one of my sarees.
I've used white kolam powder and colour powder purchased in Tuticorin.
