This is one of my favorite kolam, i have always liked it. That's why i selected it for this competition.
the dots are 7 by 4 (3,2,1 in the 6 sides for the flowers)

THIS KOLAM I SUBMIT FOR THE MARGAZHI KOLAM CONTEXT 2008. THIS NORMAL 9 TO 1 STRAIGHT DOT KOLAM WIHT MY EXTRA IMAGINATIVE WORK. THIS KOLAM I DID WITH NORMAL KOLA MAVU AND ADDED SOME COLOURS TO MAKE IT MORE BRIGHT.

Medium Used : Kolam powder and Rangoli colors. The dew drops are Saabhudhana.
The "HAPPY NEW YEAR" in the kolam is made of glass stones. These are the beautiful yellow winter birds sitting on the dewy leaves. The middle flower is the traditional Margazhi pumpkin flower.
