Eclipse everyone should be aware, This time its Solar eclipse (Suryagrahana ) ,This year its on 26th Jan which is visiable in Australia, Southeast India, Southeast Asia Indonesia and Africa. As per traditional Hindu calendar, January 26 is an Amavasya day. All Hindu temples remain closed during Suryagahan and will reopen only after the Grahan after conducting special pujas and rituals. Usually, religious Hindus do not take any food for about 4 to 5 hours before Grahana starts. During Grahana time and they purify themselves by taking bath and chants the Mantras , Vishnu sahasranama , and Japas. During this time its said to give Pithru Tharpanas. Myself & Bharathi drawn this theme.
Can anyone share how this is viewed from other country people style of looking this Eclipse??
This kolam has no dots. To keep symmetry, you may put 3 dots 3 lines (straight) to position the cross design. You can connect the cross design as per your imagination. Outer border of your choice will add the beauty.
My hearty wishes for a Happy Republic Day of our great nation. I tried to depict some of Our National Symbols within the tricolour. I did this with freehand. My hubby helped me in designing this Rangoli.
Dot count for this rangoli 4-6-8-10-12-14-16-18-18-18-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4.
it is made using kolam powder and colours...
Hope my Pongal Kolam is good enough to be displayed - dots are 15 to 1.
Straight dots. It is a 9 to 1 straight dot kolam joined by the same in all directions.
