Hi friends,HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY .
26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign and republican state. The country finally realized the dreams of freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since. This was drawn by myself and Bharathi.

A triangle rangoli. Drawn for Margazhi thirunal. Use double colours for more look.
12-4 dots. Use contrasting colors. It looks nice in early morning. Try this at your home and say your feedback.
This also my aunty kept for sankranthi in front of her house, free hand design.
This kolam was made by 10 years old boy. I feel this looks realistic.
After seeing Srimati bRMdA's work, I was inspired to do this
collage. Indian flags are flying in the blue skies. In
the sky there is no up or down or left or right. So all
ways of flying it are permissible. Indians, enjoy the
Republic Day! Best wishes! Perhaps one of the kOlam artists
may be awarded a padmaSrI in the future, who knows? Dream big!
Regards! - mOhana
