It is a very good idea. One or two suggestions if you don't mind. The eclipse won't last that long as indicated by the positions of the sun at various stages. Secondly the light will not be the same throughout. You have to manage both, rather difficult. You can try one more thing. The shadows cast by the trees during the totality and the birds returning home and such things. I hope you don't mind. I apologise if I am off. Regards! - mOhana
