Here is a freehand drawing of a wild flower - Lata if you know the name of this flower you can name it accordingly. This was done on my kitchentop with kolapodi mixed with rice flour.

Periwinkle is actually a colour in the blue-violet family. It is a medicinal herb used in treating cancer, diabetes etc.

I wanted to make a rangoli out of our state flower - poppy. I used pastels to make this rangoli.

Iris means rainbow. That is why this flower grows in many hues, but with a basic approximate three-fold symmetry. That is the reason why I chose this. I chose three colours - purple, white and yellow and made a collage that is presented here. Enjoy!
