Hi all,
I'm uploading 2 of my snaps for the Golu contest 2010.I've tried to create some miniatures to depict a few popular festivals of south India, made the mandap for Ganesha,Krishna, vishu kani, mini navrathri and uriadi with thermacol and the miniature bhakshanams(murukku, appam, thenkozhal, laddu, mysorepak, vadai, cheedai, vella cheedai, vethalapaaku thattu) and pongal paanai, sugarcane, tree, oonjal, velakus, nellu parai, miniature vegetables and fruits and miniature crackers with clay.
Have made a background art wall piece with my old cds, applied some glitter powder for the "om" in the center and drew the peacock feathers on chart n cut them in shape..
The simple rangoli is made of coloured dessicated coconut.
Hope all of u like it !
Thankyou.
Happy Navarathri!
