Though we dont celebrate this Golu , during dussehra.. We made this goddess arrangement for navarathri. So thought of sharing for the contest.

Being too young to imbibe the essence of Golu last year, this time was my two-year old son's first experience of Navaratri Celebrations. Never tiring to pick the dolls and admiring them, the young one was awe-struck by this colourful display... we all had a fun-filled experience. Who says Bomma golu is for girls only?!

Hai Lata, I am uploading my house golu for the contest.It was arranged by me.In my house golu I have placed ganesh glass painting on the fourth row.Siradi Baba is sitting on the last row.I drew pillayar and filled with colour on the left side and colourful hrudhaya kamalam on the right side and the centre kolam also you must be watching.Plants of spices(mustard and green payaru) are also growing.It took two days to complets fully.Comments please thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I am participating for the first time. The theme is "Mythological Splendour"
My Navrati Kolu has 5 steps. The top most step is dedicated to Rajareshwari and all devi forms, followed by the next step with Nataraja and various dance music forms. The third step with the kalasha has two themes one -a riverside theme and the other being a temple procession theme. The fourth and fifth steps are dedicated to kailasam and Vishnu forms respectively, with a lot of general items added.
The park has three aspects, all hand made by me , except for the dolls in it. The first is a pilgrimage to Badrinath, the middle one being a Village scene and the last one is Shakuntala's ashram (kanva maharishi).
The rangoli in the front though small is layered with small red manjadi seeds.
Do let me have your feedback. I have really enjoyed setting this up.

Our golu’s theme is JOTHIRLINGA KSHETRAS . We have kept stories related to 12 Jothirlinga temples,
Supported by the CRAFT .We have also kept a pillayar collection consisting of handmade pillayar out of
nuts, soap, coconut, tamarind, cotton,etc. We have kept food items like idli, dosa,etc out of wax.
