If we take an octagon and cut out the three consecutive sides, we get a dome. This paDikOlam was done with such domes and filled with flowers and lamps. Tomorrow a sheeshmahal with this design Enjoy!

This rangOli was made with a green tendril and the eight-fold flower added at the end. I call it li as it has some resemblance to the telugu / kannaDa letter li. Enjoy!

Iris means rainbow. That is why this flower grows in many hues, but with a basic approximate three-fold symmetry. That is the reason why I chose this. I chose three colours - purple, white and yellow and made a collage that is presented here. Enjoy!
