My most favourite type of kolam is the 'Kambi Kolam' or 'Chikku Kolam' and as Rajamma once commented, these type of kolams are very good to help increase your concentration power... The dot count is indicated in the kolam itself...

This is 15 -1 straight. This can be expanded to 25-1 straight also. Colouring will enhance its looks.
