Just wanted to share this kolam was made during diwali. This is my first attempt of a ther kolam.
this rangoli's dot count is 15-22 on both sides and 7-1.enjoyed putting this rangoli with my son .he chose the colors:)
We used to put big rangoli on every occation in our house. Few I am uploaing in ikolam

I missed navarathri , so I am posting my Golu , theme was Adishankaracharya, I tried to create Tunga river and Sringeri . Adi Shankara established his first Mutt in Sringeri since a snake gave shelter to a pregnant frog from the scorching sun (two opposite forces of nature) and I tried to depict it. I couldnt find a snake so had to make it out of playdough.
