Straight dots - 6 - 2
After a long time I was able to click a picture of one of the kolams that I made last week. Once I finished I just played with it a little bit and used a match stick to draw over the design (though it did not come out neatly as I expected it to). Managed to download photoshop on my son's system so I could crop and resize the image and here I am friends after a long gap. Hope you like this one..
7 x 7 straight dots. 4 to 1 intermediate dots on all 4 sides. From Aval Vikatan supplement (2007)
This kolam is a dotted one, 7-4 inter dots and sides 3-1. It ll look like a star when the dots are kept on all the sides.
I was in India during Marghazhi and had the pleasure of doing kolams along with my sister in law. After finishing we felt we had done a complete exercise routine.
21 to 11 lines.
This is a dotted kolam. The dot count is 9-5 interlaced and 3-2-1 on all sides. The lotuses are facing outwards. Hope you like it.
This is also a simple sikku kolam with the dot count 18(4 times),14(2 times),8(3 times),4(2 times)
