It is very beautiful, just wanted to check how you make the maida batter. I only know how to put kolam with Rice flour, not with the batter. So please try to explain how you make the maida batter. thank you so much,
Lakshmi, kitty is busy looking through the Kolam contest folder. It's so hard pressed for time, managing everything, that it seems to be in a hurry no matter what it tries to do or does. Lets hope it wouldn't get its head stuck in the Pongal-pot...just imagine, kitty running around with its head stuck in a pongal pot! :O
Neki aur pooch pooch! Please go ahead and upload them, whenever you find time. This rangoli looks very nice against the black or almost black background. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are these birds?
Bitter gourd kolam, very nice. I tried to grow it here in California, and failed miserably last summer. Next summer, I need to try harder, pass on any tips if you got any.
I've missed seeing your patterns Visalakshi, life must have been busy
Here is my version of this kolam with a slight variation (for anyone that is interested in the dot count)
