After a while, I found some time to create a new pattern. This is a 4x4 pattern that is further squared. At the centre is placed the starting motif rotated by 45 deg.
Number of lines - 6
Number of colours - 3
Symmetry - 422 (90 deg rotn about the vertical and four 180 rotns in the plane)

Here is a hridayakamalam with OM. For clarity two different colours are shown. I worked on this for quite some time to get it to this shape even if it is not perfect still. Enjoy!

hai... it is a wedding poo kolam. this is a team work kolam. i and other four of us made this kolam in my sis in law's daughters marriage on 1.12.11. hope you all like this
