Hello friends... a padikolam done using again recycled colours...Hope you all like this one.
hi all , some of our IKOLAM friends visited my house to-day, this free hand rangoli was drawn to welcome them all. Any guess who has visited !!!
hi friends iwas away for more than a week and now iam back with 2,3 kolams which u will all like i think.this one is margazhi kolam
this kolam was done on varalakshmi pooja for last year.the face of lord narayana.actually this drawing was shown in a children 's colouring book,i juz converted the drawing in the colouring book as kolam and also ;added some details to the face of the lord from my own imagination on varalakshmi pooja.enjoy viewing people :)hari aum namo narayana
Thank u LakshniRaghu mam.by admiring your rangoli we tried this in temple.
This chikku kolam was done using kolapodi which I collected from previous kolams. I have used a touchup of photoshop flowers as well. Hope you like it.
Our organisation had conducted cultural event for the employees and in that I participated and did this kolam. The time limit was 1 hour (exactly). I was able to finish in 55 minutes. Your views pls....
hai frnz, this is my own design done on a very chill evening, do u all like it????
Right middle - A hexagon is chosen.
Right top - One of the sides (bottom) is removed from the hexagon.
Right bottom - The incomplete hexagon is rotated by 150 deg and joined to the earlier one. After twelve such rotations (12 x 150 = 1800 = 5 x 360) we come back to the original. This, after colouring, is shown.
Left top - Six of the bottom right are assembled to give the pattern with the 6-fold symmetry (6mm).
Left bottom - Four of these are assembled to give the pattern with the 4-fold symmetry (4mm).
Note how we get four-fold and six-fold symmetries with the same starting motifs. That is because we have a 12-fold symmetry (without colour) in the original pattern.
Enjoy! Regards - mOhana
