We normally decorate our office for Christmas. This year, I used rangoli as a Team Building exercise for my Team. This was the first time they were seeing a rangoli. So to make it easy, I created a template of a christmas carpet by copying several pictures from clip arts. I showed them how to draw simple lines with sand. We then made the rangoli using colored sand. It was a huge success with several people visiting our department just to watch the rangoli (sand art as my team named it). Several of my team said they were going to try it at home too. Thought I will share this with all kolam lovers. Hope you enjoy it!

I tried my best to complete sowmya's new padikolam.It took more than 3 hours for me.I am not satisfied with the result.I know it is not perfect.

hai frnz, this was done during karthigai,,its my 1st try of a bigger kolam in this size which resulted in a severe backpain he he he,, i wondered how laksh is able to do such sized kolams daily,,,,,,,,,ur comments pls

Hai to all I am uploading the kolam of Lord venkateshwara which I did in kitchen top of my cousins new home when I went there for their house warming ceremony on monday which gave me lots of appreciations and hope you all like this .. I have used match stick and finger techniques in ornaments.
