This one was done by my sister Sonia, with my idea of joining Roses & Leaves. She is very good in knitting, too.
This Tree was our first Christmas tree, after coming to Sivakasi from Bombay. We used to decorate it with all types of things. After the second Christmas it totally dried up. Not willing to thrash it, we stuck some artificial wood leaves(pine cone spikes) some dried flowers to its branches and put it on the showcase. Meanwhile, a Bulbul family had built a nest and left it on our roof top, which was again set up on this tree. My Dad found some artificial sparrows in a sale and after all this done, I had this work to be shared with you all. This is almost 20years old. The photo was taken just last week.
This is also done by my Sister, Sonia. My favourite one of all her work. She painted this one when she was carrying in her 6th month. May be that feeling gave life to this painting, too.
This one was done by my sister, Sonia. She is not a member in Ikolam, yet. So I am uploading this on her behalf.
This was the centre design in one of Rajamma Ma'am's Rangolis. Dharun loved this design so much, that he was asking me to make it for a very long time. Today, being his first day to school, I made this one and he was very happy. Thanks to Rajamma Ma'am, it made his day.
I put this kolam on Sunday morning, do share your comments...
