This is a rather novel one I made. The triangular gOpurams are more north Indian than south Indian with more elongation. The red and grey (nearest to white colour) dotted border is a new innovation. It is a sona drawing extended on all four sides. I call this a sona square. Each sona drawing is a 2 X 13 drawing (2 rows, 13 columns). We know such a sona drawing is a single line. What is interesting is if one combines four such sona drawings to form a square, we get two lines, not a single line. This is an exciting result, for me 
Outside this, I have my curlies and tendrils and lamps. Hope you enjoy!

after seeing Subashini's green kolam I put this one with Coconut, manjal Vettrilai, paaku pazham and poovu.( dotted kolam ..13 -7 inbetween dots).
Pushpaji, see since the maavu was very watery I could not draw this neatly.

This rangoli was put by me on vinayaga chathurthi.I used ready made colour powder.ie,the colours need no mixing with sand or kola maavu.
