This is also a mini kolam. In this I have used a stencil which depicts the feet of cow and at the bottom I have drawn the sketch of the same. This type of design is mainly used in SB rangolis which depicts Goddess Laxmi and all round prosperity.
This is a dotted kolam.Dot counts are 21-11.interlaced dots.Hope you like the frame work too.
This wet maavu simple kolam I put on a glass ( glass piece broken which I had no mind to throw). On the table I kept one colored gift wrapper paper( again... no mind to throw) and on that kept the glass and drew this with wet maavu . After it dried , did some scratching with unused toothpik.
So this is for all of you to enjoy and try such new methods to draw kolams with unused/ used materiels.
While I did a few patterns on a 10x10 grid, I found ten is an even number and the pattern does not have a central "point". I thought why not a 9x9 grid? I took a well known 3x3 pattern which everyone knows except that I did it with strings long ago ( http://www.ikolam.com/node/4869?p=1930 ). I repeated this nine times and connected them in such a way that only one line results. This looks a bit like svAstika. Others too can try 9x9 patterns. May be laTAji may open a folder for this too
