Temples of Kerala

Many of us would have visited famous temples of Kerala, like Guruvayoor, Chottanikkara, Trichur Sive temple etc., But, I feel, the beauty of Kerala temples lie in village temples with a small sanctum sanctorum, a tiny vigraham with minimum decorations and a lot of brass lamps burning around!These temples do not have big gopurams as in Tamilnadu.

In Kerala Avani(chingam) month is welcome after 3 months of rainy season!
Onam, the most celebrated festival of Kerala falls in this month.
I have been to Kerala many times and several things facinate me each time.
Let me come out with one by one and I expect comments from all of you.
